Wedding Greeting Card Book

What to do with all of these cards...

Supplies:

• Single hole punch
• Greeting cards
• Binder rings
• Ribbon
• Exact-o knife or razor blade
• Pen

 Take the shortest card and punch holes on the side you want to string the rings.

 You've just made your template!  Now line up your template with the rest of your cards.  I centered the template with the rest of the cards and marked where to punch holes.

Notes: For tri-fold cards make sure to open them before punching holes.  If you fail to do so you won't be able to open the pages to read them later.  Also for cards with many layers you might have to use an exact-o knife to create holes.  After the first few cards I turned the template over so any markings from my pen would be on the back of the card out of sight.

 Thread each card through until the very end!

 Add some cute bows to dress up the binder rings when you're done :)  Happy reading!

Back to normal but slightly different

I'm a Mrs. and it feels GREAT!  It was amazing and more than I could have anticipated.  I wish it lasted longer.  I'll try to post pics from the wedding once I get the professional ones :)

Anyways since my life is now some what normal I had time to indulge in some retail therapy again. A local boutique was having a sale and I couldn't resist.  Look at what I scored for $6!

I don't really like yellow but this bag had to come home with me.  It had a secret surprise of change on the inside!! I'm glad my hubby doesn't have FB or instagram so he won't find out I bought ANOTHER bag...maybe I do have a problem....haha!  I partially blame it on him though.  When he's out of town I can't help myself when it comes to shopping ;)

Wedding Gown

Had my final fitting today for my wedding gown.  8 days and counting!  So crazy.  Another girl was trying on dresses on the other side of the room and she saw me in my gown.  Her consultant asked if it was from the Galina collection, which it is :).  When I was leaving that girl was trying on my dress.  Kind of a compliment.  Made me feel even better about my choice ^_^

Getting excited

My wedding is only 11 days away!  I finally got past the stressed out phase I was going through with all of the wedding planning.  Things were up in the air and it felt like nothing was set in stone. But now I can't stop smiling.  I still have things to do, however they seem within reach.

I can't freaking wait to be a married woman :)

I've been so stressed lately that I haven't found time to blog let alone do much of anything else.  Today was finally a pretty normal fun day.  I've checked a bunch of stuff off my wedding checklist recently which included going to my first dress fitting!  I had my girls with me and it helped out so much to have all of their support.  They mean the world to me and I feel so blessed to have them sharing in the most important day of my life.  Today was definitely a win.

Things are finally back in my control.  Don't worry I'm not some crazy micro-manager!  I just have a good feeling about the future.

Some awesomeness from lately:

• Landscaped the front yard and put fresh flowers in the kitchen window
• 2 romantic dinners in one week <3
• Seeing a blue moon (the second full moon in a month, next one isn't until 2018)!  
• Purchasing a kick ass coffee table.  It raises up so it acts like a giant tv tray and was the last one in the store labor day weekend ;)
• Extra large paycheck
• Super successful flea market trip
• Rearranging 3 different rooms in the house in ONE day. I slept so well that night!
• Purchasing wedding bands
• Joined Instagram...I'm hooked!  

Tough in more than one way

Things have been a little rough as of late.  Not even sure how to describe them.  One thing I now know from what has happened is that I do in fact love my dog and wouldn't give her up for the world. She's part of my family and I never want to see her hurt again.

 Post dog attack and she's fine, like nothing even happened...

Some awesome from lately:

• My 2nd bridal shower with friends and my future mother in law
  
• Getting closer to my big bro and helping him through some deep sh*t
  
• Belting out tunes at the top of my lungs while deep cleaning the house
  
• Finding perfect signs for my home at Big Lots
  
• Sorting mail (I don't know why I like doing it but it's relaxing and feels so satisfying at the end)
  
• Taking my office back, it's no longer going to be my storage/animal room damn it!
  
• Getting excited about my wedding again!  Can't wait to party!
  
• Chilling with my bridal party and talking about everything and anything.  I <3 those girls so much!
  
• Rocking a brand new outfit (lace earrings, my first hi-low dress, down to the TALLEST heels I have in my closet!  I even went against one of my fashion dislikes and got peep toes!)
  
• Having a blast at work on an over time day.  It seriously felt like I was hanging out with good friends instead of working.  Oh and there was a giant amount of free food because we decided to do a potluck.  Best...idea...of the month!!!!

Some awesome from today:

• Spreading the Southern accent I adopt on Wednesdays with one of my amazing fun co-workers.  We were able to bring out the Southern in at least 3 different people today :)  There's something about a southern accent that is so uplifting and cheerful!  Funny thing is, is if my co-worker and I are not together we go back to normal.  It's the silliest thing. Oh and we are NOT southern at all!
• Bursting out into giggle fits several times through out the day.
• FREE hot dogs for lunch at work!
• Getting compliments on my paper flowers.  We had an "art walk" at work today and I brought my paper flowers in to showcase.
• Having one of my bridesmaids offer to host a little gathering for me at her new place once she's all settled in.  It's amazing how sweet people can be :)
• Feeding my dog peanut butter and watching her lick her lips for 5 minutes straight
• Watching my smallest kitty and dog eskimo kiss
• Seeing little fishy Tiger swimming around like crazy in his newly upgraded tank
• Getting my ass out of bed at 3:15am to run the dog...no more excuses!
• Getting over time scheduled for this coming week!  Hello bigger paycheck!!!! :)

Smallest gesture

 

The smallest gesture can turn your whole perspective around.  My baby girl decided I needed a bed time hug.  It's moments like these that remind me how simple and wonderful life is sometimes.
